Teachers' Survey

As we identified the need we wanted to address, we crafted a survey based on parents participation in workshops and to uncover possible reasons for parents being unable to reinforce curriculum due to time.

Results

As we asked about whether parents do reinforce the curriculum, the teachers showed mixed responses:

We then got the teachers to share about their class's Workshop Attendance:

As seen above, theres a mixed range from 0-15, mainly 5 from each class

We also got the teachers to share about their thoughts of parents volunteers:

The teachers encouraged the idea but some stated that the parents would not attend

We then further went to find out why workshop attendance and physical appearance is low:

From the results, teachers agree that parents find it difficulty to come down for  workshops. This is likely due to the parent's job, their schedules and priorities

We also asked the teachers about how parents react to online activities given to them from the school:

From the results, we could see that majority of parents do enjoy doing online activities. However, when it came to consulting or communication, they would prefer to have it face to face.

Based on the interview and survey results, we found a recommendation that suited the need of the centre:

An E-workshop
